Selling your alpaca on the Alpaca.com® Online Auction is an easy and exciting way to find qualified buyers for your superior alpacas. All animals consigned to the Auction must meet the highest standards of quality set by both Seller and Alpaca.com®. The alpaca must be physically sound and conformationally correct, with excellent bite and straight legs. The fiber should be outstanding in both texture and coverage. The Auction is a showcase of some of the world's finest alpacas and any animal accepted for consignment must carry on that tradition of excellence.

In addition, Sellers are expected to warranty their alpacas to meet industry standards and work cooperatively with the Buyer following the sale on such issues as registration, shipment, medical records, etc. This is simply another way that Alpaca.com® endeavors to insure the satisfaction of both parties and our own continued goodwill in the greater alpaca community.

All alpacas listed in the Auction have been consigned to Alpaca.com® by the Seller, who has agreed to pay Alpaca.com® a commission for managing the sale and has signed the necessary agreements to support that arrangment.

In order for an alpaca to be accepted into the Auction, the Seller and Alpaca.com® must agree on the above conditions. If it is determined that the proposed alpaca does not fit within the context of the Auction, the Alpaca.com® consultant will discuss other sales vehicles available to the Seller.

If you are interested in consigning your alpaca(s) to the Auction, please follow these simple steps. We look forward to hearing from you!

STEP 1 - Enter the Auction and enjoy browsing through our current collection of beautiful alpacas. There you will see the standard listing layout used by Alpaca.com® and the type of information of interest to prospective bidders.

STEP 2 - Select the alpaca(s) you are interested in consigning and fill out one Consignment Inquiry Information Sheet for each animal.

STEP 3 - Send the Consignment Inquiry Information Sheet to Alpaca.com®. You may email to AlpacaFinder®@Alpaca.com® or fax to 734-996-8266. For first class mail, our address is Alpaca.com®, 3888 W. North Territorial Road, Whitmore Lake, Michigan 48189.

STEP 4 - An Alpaca.com® consultant will contact you for further discussion concerning your interests and/or questions.

STEP 5 - If both parties agree that consignment should be made, you will be given the necessary forms to sign in order to activate your listing.

STEP 6 - Upon receipt of these signed and completed forms, along with at least three scanner quality photographs of each animal, Alpaca.com® will enter your alpaca(s) in the Auction.
